Caregiver Fee for students under 18 years
From the date of arrival applies to all students under 18 years on courses above 12 weeks. Students are assigned a Caregiver who does a pre-arrival check of the homestay, contacts parents in advance and sends monthly reports. However, GEOS NZ recommends the Caregiver Service to ALL STUDENTS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD, no matter what length of course they are studying. For those parents of under 18 year old students on courses above 12 weeks who elect to designate their own caregiver, GEOS NZ will provide criteria and conditions which need to be applied to satisfy pastoral care obligations before this is approved. Refer Step 1 under the "GEOS NZ Enrolment Procedures (for students under 18 years old)".
Young Learner General English/High School Preparation Course (GEOS AUCKLAND ONLY)
Course Duration: 1 week +
Start date: Any Monday. Start of module 1 recommended
English + Activity Holiday Courses (GEOS AUCKLAND & CHRISTCHURCH)
COURSE 1: 31 December 2007 - 15 February 2008
COURSE 2: 17 March 2008 - 4 April 2008
COURSE 3: 3 June 2008 - 22 August 2008
COURSE 4: 1 December 2008 - mid February 2009
Students can join any Monday within the above course periods for a minimum of one week. English + Activity students can commence on any Monday during these times. Minimum enrolment is 1 week.
