We live in a globalizing world - modern communication and transport overcome physical borders and bring people together from all parts of the globe, which becomes more and more a “global village” or “cultural melting pot”. Therefore, we need to communicate successfully and create a mutual basis of understanding and trust. This is the mission of GEOS worldwide network - we teach students English, the global language, and due to our colourful mix of students, we thereby promote the understanding of the cultural diversity in this beautiful world.

The GEOS Wellington Language Centre guarantees “total student service”. All teachers have degrees, specialist English-teaching qualifications and overseas experience. Our homestay providers are carefully chosen and guaranteed to be welcoming and friendly. The school is located in the state of the art Saatchi & Saatchi building in the middle of Wellington’s bustling inner-city café district. Students can use our computer facilities to improve their English, consult our internationally-qualified staff and take part in a wide range of organized school activities. We acquire students from all over the world and have a maximum number of 15 students per class.

Wellington itself has a cosmopolitan character and is the political as well as the cultural and artistic capital of New Zealand. Students can enjoy its vibrant atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings invite to enjoy the outdoor pleasures for which New Zealand is world-famous. Thanks to our GEOS OCEANIA SUPERLINK™ program, students can even learn more about this beautiful country and Australia while studying at GEOS. We at the Language Centre in Wellington closely cooperate with all schools in New Zealand, Australia and the “GEOS family” and offer students the special opportunity of a coordinated study programme between cities and even countries.
